I just wanted to say thanks so much for your recent help with my attic insulation.

It was one of those things I had put on the long finger but after the winter we've just had my fuel bills I realised I needed to look at ways to make savings.

It was a lot less painful and expensive than I had expected. Your colleague arrived bang on time, took care of everything, working around all my junk in the attic, and even hoovered up afterwards!

To say it was fast and efficient was an understatement.

I had a leak in my boiler that needed urgent repair from a qualified Gas Plumber on Saturday 8th January 2011.

I rang 6 plumbers looking for a quote and got replies from only 4. DeWAR were one of the companies that were able to give a quote on the spot and the quote was extremely competitive, actually, it was €300 cheaper than any other company. Having agreed the price, a plumber rang my door bell half an hour later to examine the damage.

Once the damage was surveyed, it was suggested to me by DeWAR, that it would be a waste to repair the boiler as it was old and would probably require further repair later down the road. The option was given to me that they could repair the boiler but in actual fact, it would be cheaper in the long run to replace the boiler with one that was 95% efficient. The boiler that was currently in situ was only 75% efficient at no time was I put under pressure to change. However after further negotiation I agreed to purchase the new High Efficiency Condensing Gas Boiler. I again rang around for further quote and again, DeWAR was the cheapest.

Having contacted DeWAR to confirm contact, The Director of the company was at my door step within half an hour of the call to examine and confirm what work had to be done.

The plumber arrived at my house the following day at 8.30am ready to start work. Firstly he put a gauge on to my gas meter and reported to me that I had a gas leak in my house. After spending 3 hours finding where the source of the leak was, he proceeded to repair the leak which was coming from a gas fire. This repair work was completed at no extra cost to me.

Then the plumber carried on with his original task of replacing the boiler. He was extremely neat, tidy and courteous to all my young family who were a constant annoyance throughout the day.

The task was completed at 6pm and my heating was back working in perfect order again. As per their promise, my gas bill has been reduced considerably as I now have a more efficient gas boiler.

I would have no issue whatsoever in recommending this company to any prospective consumer, and have willing let my name and address be used as a testimonial on behalf of DeWAR for future clients. The service and advice that I received when in desperate trouble was invaluable, and the service received was far superior to any other company I have previously dealt with.

We had work done by DeWAR Gas Service over the month of December 2010 when we needed to replace old boilers that had broken down in the Capuchin Friary residence and in the Capuchin Church here on Church Street, Dublin 7.

They replaced five gas boilers in all; two in the Church and three in the Friary. We were delighted they were so prompt with advising on and sourcing the right products for us and they had them installed and up and running very quickly. Their technicians were courteous and efficient and always in good humour when on the job. We were equally delighted the job was done so quickly and professionally as this December was so cold and with old priests residing in the monastery it was important to have the heat back on.

We were impressed with Alan Grogan and his team who were personally involved at all stages of the work. The overall cost of the project was very reasonable and fair.

DeWAR Electrical Services have just completed the Emergency lighting and Communal contract at a large apartment complex of Roebuck Road, Clonskeagh Dublin 6. They won the tender on price and with refrences they supplied from previous works of simaliar style. They replaced the entire emergency lighting throughout the develpoment, replacing the underground carpark lighting with new high effeciency LED style fittings. They installed sensor lighting for the communal areas, which will reduce costs drasticaly over the coming years. They carried out the works to schedule and within budget. The electricains on site were available and approachable at all times to answer any questions i may have had.
I would have no hesitation in recommending there Electrical Services.

We recently employed Dewar on behalf of our client to do a major refurbishment project in a large block of apartments. We found their prices were very competitive and we certainly got value for money.
