DeWAR Wins Award
Alan Grogan from DeWAR Wins "Service Engineer of the year 2010" at the Advance Fields Solutions Annual Service Providers Awards Ceremony
Advance Fields Solutions annual service providers awards ceremony was carried out at the prestigious Shelbourne Hotel on Stephens Green in Dublin today. In attendance were many of Irelands leading service providers of customer service such as O2, Empower Solutions, Phoneplus, Independent Health Service and many more. “The awards ceremony is an annual event to recognise companies across Ireland that are committed to advancing customer service levels, through advancement of there internal IT solutions and staff training, DeWAR fought off strong competition to make it to the final three within this highly sought after category Service Provider of the Year, this is a true testament of there commitment to bringing customer service solutions to there customer base" explained Pat Downey one the Judges.
When asked Alan Grogan of DeWAR management explained " we find that with a large volume of calls coming through daily to our offices across Dublin, we highlighted the need to be able to see what was happening in a real time scenario, we wanted to be able look a moments notice to find out our hourly and daily response times to our customer base. We have invested considerably in our IT systems to allow our service department to act as a live on line service. We can allow account customers access to our web based systems through there own IT systems, they can log a call, find out the status of a call, find out our response times in real time day and night for themselves. This has become invaluable for our company in cementing our presence in this very demanding 24 hour response sector”.
Throughout the day there was many other awards presented such as, best company to work for, employee of the year, best health & safety policies implemented, service manager of the year within the last 12 months.
The DeWAR team and Alan Grogan were on hand to accept the category of Service Engineer of the year 2010 as nominated by there customer base, which was presented by Pat Downey.

"This is a fantastic day for the entire engineering department as a whole to be recognised by our loyal customers with whom we are delighted to service daily; we have found that with strong competition and companies looking for value for money these days. We in DeWAR.ie wanted to show our customers we valued there business from account to the private sector, if we committed to offering them the highest level of professionalism, day in day out they would become DeWAR.ie biggest sales and marketing tool. That shows today with your presentation" said a delighted Alan Grogan as he accepted the award.
This year has been a huge success for the AFS 2010 Awards, we are delighted to see so many familiar faces and new faces this year and look forward to an even bigger event next year. Congratulations to all the nominations and winners said Managing Director, Declan Foley of Advance Field Solutions.
